Play golf all year round, be world famous and go home to your Swedish model wife every night. Nice. Tiger Woods Golf is without doubt the best golfing game on any machine, but is it worth the upgrade from the 07 version? The analog swing is still there, but in 08 you can also use the old-school three-button swing made famous on the PC. Draws and fades are significantly easier now, with pre-shot adjustments made using the side buttons instead of the right analog stick. The new Shot Confidence feature uses factors from your previous rounds and the stroke ahead - including club selection, lie, tightness of fairway and competition, which is a really nice touch. This year’s update also offers five new courses, to make a total of 16. Competing online seems a bit easier to hook up as well. If you're a golf fan there will be hours of enjoyable gaming ahead. If you already own 07 it's a 50/50 call.Rating: 8/10
